HOW TO CLEAN YOUR EMPTY CANDLE JAR

 USING HOT WATER METHOD

Cleaning finished candle jars that have contained soy wax and essential oils is relatively straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you do it effectively:

Materials Needed:
- Boiling water
- Spoon or butter knife
- Paper towels or cloth
- Dish soap
- Rubbing alcohol or vinegar (optional)
- Cotton balls or swabs (optional)

Steps:

1. Cool Down - Allow the candle jar to cool completely if it’s still warm from burning.

2. Remove Leftover Wax - Boiling Water Method: Boil water and carefully pour it into the candle jar. The heat will melt the remaining wax, allowing it to float to the top. After a few minutes, the wax will solidify at the water's surface.

2. Spoon Method - If the wax is hard, use a spoon or butter knife to gently scrape out any remaining wax from the sides and bottom of the jar.

3. Dispose of Wax - Once the wax has hardened, remove it from the water and dispose of it properly. You can also save it for future candle-making if you like.

4. Wash the Jar - Use warm, soapy water and a cloth or sponge to wash the inside of the jar thoroughly. If there’s any residue from the essential oils, you may want to use a little dish soap. For stubborn residue, you can soak the jar in warm, soapy water for a few minutes.

5. Rinse and Dry - Rinse the jar with clean water and dry it with a cloth or let it air dry.

6. Remove Scent Residue (Optional) - If you still notice a scent from the essential oils, you can wipe the inside of the jar with rubbing alcohol or vinegar using a cotton ball or swab. Rinse again afterward.

7. Final Touch - Once dry, your candle jar is ready to be repurposed!

By following these steps, you'll have clean, fresh candle jars ready for their new purpose!
